Our installation team recently completed tenancy mechanical services fitout HVAC project works at "The Georges - 162 Collins St, Melbourne" for the recent Christian Louboutin fitout.

Our role on this project included assessment of the proposed tenancy fitout requirements against existing base building chilled water, heating hot water and outside air ventilation system provisions. AChall designed and implemented all required mechanical services base building modifications to facilitate the required cooling, heating and compliant ventilation airflows.

Fitout works comprising ductwork, diffusers, VAV boxes, chilled water, heating hot water, electrical and controls upgrade works.

This project required a high degree of finished services integration to provide an airconditioning and ventilation solution that did not detract from the fitout ambience and atmosphere project aspirations.

This included back of house return locations and cleverly designed supply air reticulation paths integrated into joinery to allow non conventional air paths. Optimisation of diffusers (with Holyoake Industries assistance) was critical in this project to ensure even air distribution and occupant comfort despite limited ceiling space provisions

Due to the high grade fitout requirements for this project, a very high level of design integration of mechanical services and installation finishes was required.

Working closely with EMAC Constructions and the Christian Louboutin architectural team, one key design aspect of this project comprised the design of a system of continuous curved linear supply air outlets to match the radius of curvature of the new architectural curved face feature bulkhead.
